I'm Erin

And I built this website to be a corner of solace and support for adults in the midst of grieving, whether that be personally or for those in a supportive role seeking guidance. My experiences with loss have led me to create this website with empathy. My hope is to provide resources that offer realistic help and connection.

My Story

I experienced my first loss at 13 when my dad died in a motorcycle accident. At 18, six weeks into our first college semester which we were attending together, my closest friend died in a car accident with her boyfriend. At 27 my stepdad passed away from a rare form of cancer. And in 2022 my best friends husband died in an accident. They had been together since we were all 15 years old.

Suffice it to say I've had a lifetime to get comfortable with grief and to learn what types of feedback are helpful. The driving force behind this resource is knowing how much good, useful information there is around grief and wanting to provide a simplified center where it can be easily accessed. Grief is an enormous and often hidden burden. This website is intended to shed light on those who feel alone and lighten the load of grief through connection and education.
